The Calgary Flames Celebrity Charity Golf Classic

Jon Dick and Associates Realty are proud to support the 27^th edition Calgary Flames Celebrity Charity Golf Classic making of another record year generating in excess of $330,000 for the Flames Foundation for Life. The Flames Foundation for Life supports a number of different initiatives that range from grassroots hockey to important advancements in the medical community.

The golf tournament is one of the key pillars to the Flames Foundation fundraising effort. With the generous support primarily through sponsorships, entry fees and dedicated fans, the Calgary Flames Celebrity Charity Golf Classic has raised more than $3,110,000 to date over the past couple of decades.

More than 300 participants, who included a mix of Flames veterans, prospects and alumni, as well as coaches, management, celebrity guests and season-ticket holders, attended the affair at the Country Hills Golf and Country Club on Sept. 5, 2007. The tournament presents a chance for new players to get to know their teammates and allows fans to get up close and personal with some of their heroes. But the most important purpose is raising funds for the community. Itâs about giving back to the city that provides so much support for the team.
